Flourish Community Art School provides integrated and dynamic Art Enrichment classes throughout Colorado. We teach students of all
ages art techniques that range from painting and drawing, to paper making, sculpture and collage. We offer a wide variety of classes, projects, and materials in a fun atmosphere that will support growth and exploration.
We focus on guiding the students through each project while nurturing their individual spirit and imagination. After all, art is an expression of one's own creative ideas and we aim to provide an environment that supports the creative artist in each student.
Flourish Community Art School , was founded in 2005 in response to the decline in arts education opportunities for school age children, especially in the public schools and a need for art enrichment classes for active adults.
Arts education in America has changed drastically over the past several years and significantly since the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001. The trend in federal and state funding for art education is on a decline. This presented us with an opportunity to meet a community need for high quality arts education while providing curriculum that incorporated core lessons in math, science, literacy, and music.

The arts powerfully nurture the ability to think in this manner."
Richard Riley, Secretary, Department if Education
